Disclaimer

Last updated: 27 May 2026. Please read this before using Breathely.

General wellness only

Breathely provides guided breathing exercises for general relaxation, focus, and wellbeing. The content on this site is for informational and educational purposes only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Not a substitute for professional care

Breathely is not a healthcare provider. Do not use this service as a substitute for advice from a qualified doctor, therapist, or other licensed professional. Always seek professional guidance for medical conditions, mental health concerns, or before starting any new breathing or wellness practice — especially if you are pregnant, have a respiratory or cardiovascular condition, or take medication that affects breathing.

When not to use breathwork

Stop a session immediately if you feel dizzy, faint, short of breath, chest pain, numbness, or any discomfort. Do not practise breath-holding or intense breathing techniques while driving, operating machinery, in water, or in any situation where losing focus could cause harm.

If you have a history of panic attacks, hyperventilation, epilepsy, or similar conditions, consult a healthcare professional before using guided breathwork.

Emergencies

Breathely is not an emergency service. If you or someone else is in immediate danger or experiencing a medical emergency, contact your local emergency number right away.

No guaranteed outcomes

Breathing exercises affect people differently. We do not guarantee any particular result — including improvements in stress, sleep, mood, or physical health. Your experience may vary.

Use at your own risk

You use Breathely at your own discretion and risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Breathely and its operators are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your use of the service, including reliance on any content or exercise guidance provided on the site.

Third-party content

Exercise names and techniques may reference widely known practices (for example box breathing or 4-7-8). Descriptions are simplified for guided practice and may not reflect every clinical or traditional variation.

Changes

We may update this disclaimer from time to time. Continued use of Breathely after changes are posted means you accept the revised disclaimer.
